Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, by a resilient single mother, Jordan A. Bankston is a leader, ordained minister, entrepreneur, author, and speaker dedicated to transforming lives and communities. His journey, rooted in faith, perseverance, and purpose, has shaped his mission to empower others to unlock their full potential.

As an ordained minister, Jordan blends spiritual guidance with practical leadership to inspire growth in individuals and communities. His faith-driven approach informs his work as the Founder, President, and CEO of Forever Kings Inc., a national nonprofit committed to empowering young men of color. Since its founding in 2019, Jordan has led Forever Kings to raise over $2 million, forge 100+ strategic partnerships, and maintain a 100% on-time high school graduation rate. The organization has fostered brotherhood, leadership, and opportunity for thousands of young men, helping them redefine their futures.

In the corporate sphere, Jordan is the Managing Member of Bankston Enterprises, where he has doubled sales at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt in just two years while overseeing Bankston Publishing. He is also the author of Dear Young King, a journaling workbook designed to help young men discover their inner greatness and build a brighter future.

Recognized as one of Cincinnati Business Courier’s “40 Under 40” honorees, Jordan’s leadership is marked by his ability to unite strategy with compassion.   • As a Community Center Director in an inner city community, Mr. JB was able to:

    • Restore relationships with the community and the local schools.

    • Start an ODJFS-licensed after-school program in the first 90 days!

    • Increased youth after school and attendance by 130% in the first 90 days.

    • Created over 30 strategic partnerships to benefit the community center and the overall community.

    • Worked with other community leaders to decrease violent crimes within the community.

    • Increased operational revenue by six figures in the first year.

  • As a youth minister in both inner city and suburban (multi-cultural) ministry settings, Mr. JB:

  • As Founder, President & CEO of Forever Kings Inc., Mr. JB:

    • Successfully led the organization through the COVID-19 Pandemic and quickly pivoted to solve the communities greatest needs by providing mobile food pantries and hot meals to over 5,000 people in three months.

    • Provided insight, direction, and guidance to politicians, community leaders, and stakeholders after the killing of Gerogre Floyd.

    • Raised over 2 Million dollars in the first five years of the organization’s existence.

    • Grew the organizational operating budget from $0 to $700,000 in 5 years.

    • Increased organizational membership from 12 to 300 within the first 5 years.

    • Scaled the organization from zero staff to 4 full-time and 4 part-time staff in four years.

    • Cultivated an expectation of parent engagement to drive organizational impact.
